Space Jam – Soundtrack

I was lucky enough to get invited to work on the Space Jam soundtrack in 1996 through my old friend Dominque Trenier who was one of the Executive Producers on the project at Atlantic Record’s.

This was in the days of the record label big budgets and no expense was spared as they block booked Hit Factory Studios for two weeks and stuck everybody in five star hotels. The album went on to be the third highest selling soundtrack with over Nine Million copies sold to date.

My job on the album was to work with the voice of Bug’s Bunny and Daffy Duck. The song was made up of samples from the movie that they gave me and the rap was written by Jay-Z.
